More information on the new sun shades

The word “iconic” gets tossed around a lot these days, but when it comes to the world of eyewear, Persol is of a small handful of brands that can legitimately lay claim to the title. Sunglass styles like the 649 & the Cellor were hugely popular with both A-listers & everymen back in the ’50s, & they are still going strong to this day. But even classics need a shot in the arm from time to time, so the company is giving both an update. Persol Is Revamping Its Iconic Sun shades with the Help of Noted Pretty Person

The new 649 series & the revamped version of the metal-and-acetate Cellor are launching for spring 2016, & to mark the occasion Persol teamed up with up-and-coming actor Scott Eastwood-yes, the son of that Eastwood-on a new campaign called “Meet the New Generation.” The modernized frames share top billing with Eastwood in a series of images shot by French photographer Mathieu Cesar, & they have got an exclusive look at what went down behind the scenes. Keep reading for an intimate look at what happens when the (main) cameras are not rolling, & check out persol.com for more ray ban mirrored glasses information on the new sun shades.

Blood stained the alleyway between the Sportsman & Norton’s Pastrami & Deli on Wednesday at about one:00 p.m., after a male suspect allegedly stabbed another man times, said city police Sgt. John Ingram. The incident stemmed from a dispute over the victim’s sun shades, which the suspect had reportedly thrown on the roof of the Sportsman.

The altercation apparently began at State & Figueroa Street before reaching the alleyway, where Sportsman bartender Nate Jon said the men “loitered for about an hour” before they heard a bottle smash & sirens. The male suspect, whose blood-stained flannel lay across the street from the bar, allegedly walked to Saks Off 5th Avenue before calling the police to turn himself in. They returned to the crime scene & was taken to the Santa Barbara Police Station.
